Chris was raised in Ames, Iowa. She attended and graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in special education/elementary education. Chris graduated from Drake University Law School in 1982. Following graduation from Law School she joined her present law firm where she practices primarily in family law, but also does some work in real estate and wills.
